MinuteMan Trail-Bike

Yesterday morning Kev bought a bike and today we went exploring on the Minuteman trail. I was slightly nervous because my Ilibotibial Band was acting up from yesterday's run but the cycling motion felt great! I only was reminded of the injury when I tried to get unclipped from my right pedal. The trail is in really fantastic condition, especially considering the condition of Boston's roads, yikes! While there were lots of opportunities to fly down the trail, there also were a lot of situations where we needed to slow down due to families, rollerbladers, walkers, and cross roads. All in all it wasn't the greatest workout but it was a good follow-up to yesterday's intense 12.5 mile run.

The fellow bikers pretty much kept to themselves on the trail, there were so many people that smiling or waving would have been excessive. The end of the trail is a little ambiguous so a few of us looked at a map together to figure out whether or not it really was the end. On a friendliness scale the MinuteMan bike trail is about average.
